About Hello Harvard

Hello Harvard is a tool DCE built to provide self-service options for teaching staff to use when setting up their Canvas sites.

Phase 1 of Hello Harvard, which is now available, provides a list of DCE vetted and approved tools. Select Hello Harvard from the left menu of your course site to request and self-install tools, browse guides, and find support.

Phase 2 is currently in development and will involve an easy to use content migration process to help instructors copy content from past Canvas course sites.

• Select Hello Harvard from the left menu of your Canvas site to view a list of tools grouped by category. 
• Select the name of the tool or the More Info button to read a brief description of the tool and access help guides and support contacts.
• Select the +Add to Course button to add the tool to your Canvas course site.
• If you see a -Remove button, that means the tool has already been installed on your site and you have the option to remove it.
• If you see a How to Find It button, the tool is installed account wide for all courses and cannot be removed from your Canvas site.
