What to know
- Print a Canvas Classic Quiz to a PDF by selecting only the quiz content you want. This method keeps the output clean and avoids extra navigation elements.
Print Quiz to PDF
Step 1.
- Select Quizzes from the course navigation.
Step 2.
- Open the Classic Quiz you want to print.
Step 3.
- Click Preview to display the quiz questions.
Step 4.
- Click and drag your cursor to highlight the quiz content you want to print.
Step 5.
- Open the print dialog.
- Left click with you mouse
- or Use the appropriate shortcut:
- Windows: Ctrl + P
- Mac: Command + P
Step 6.
- Choose a PDF option as your printer.

Common options include:
- Save as PDF
- Microsoft Print to PDF
- Adobe PDF
- Open More settings
Step 7.
- Select the option to print Selection Only or Selection.
- Review the preview to confirm only the highlighted content appears.
- Click Save
Step 8.
- Choose a location, enter a file name, and save the PDF.
Note
The "Selection Only" option is not available in all browsers. If you do not see it, try using a different browser.
