
- Any teaching staff editing quizzes or exams using Proctorio or viewing the Proctorio results need to use a supported browser with the Proctorio extension installed and enabled.
- Failure to due so may strip Proctorio settings from the quiz or exam.
- Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, or Opera are the supported browsers you can use when editing an exam with Proctorio or viewing the Proctorio Gradebook.
- Install the Proctorio extension on your supported browser.
- Select Secure Exam Proctor from the left menu of your Canvas site.
- Check your Proctorio Readiness Quiz settings.
- Never enabled the Prevent Re-entry setting.
- Always leave the Only One Screen setting enabled if you are recording the screen. Proctorio can only record one screen.
- When using the Record Video, Record Audio, or Record Screen settings, always enable the corresponding Verify settings.
- Save a Proctorio Profile.

- A Canvas Announcement with a delay posting setting was added to your site during installation.
- Edit the announcement and remove the delay posting date to let students know your course is using Proctorio and remind them to review support information.

- Check the Enable Proctorio box in your exam settings.
- Proctorio may already be enabled if you imported a past exam with Proctorio.

- Apply your Proctorio settings by selecting your Proctorio Profile from within your exam or chose your settings manually.

- Giving a student the access code allows them to by-pass the proctoring system.
