The Course Home Page is the first view your students will see when they enter your course.
You can change your Course Home Page to different layout options: the Recent Activity Dashboard, Pages Front Page, the Course Modules, or the Assignment List.
Important: Do not select "Syllabus" as your home page. It will not direct students to the Simple Syllabus Course Syllabus.
Step 1.
- In the Home Page sidebar, click the "Choose Home Page" button.
Step 2.
- Click the radio button next to the Home Page layout you prefer.
Important: Do not select "Syllabus" as your home page. It will not direct students to the Simple Syllabus Course Syllabus.
Note: If you want to select a Pages Front Page but the link is grayed out, you must first set a Front Page. Only Published pages can be set as the Front Page. Make sure the page you want to set as the Front Page is published.
Step 3.
- Click the "Save" button to Save Home Page Layout.
