- From the Quizzes page, click the button for "+ Quiz".
- In the dialog box, choose "New Quizzes" and click the "submit" button.
- Enter your exam name and click the "build" button to start adding questions to your exam.
- Added features (like more control over shuffle answers).
- More flexible settings (allow a student to re-enter a submitted exam)
- Expanded question type options.
- Ability to attach stimulus info to a group of questions.
- You cannot use Proctorio with New Quizzes yet.
- Stick with one Quiz tool.
- If you use New Quizzes don't create any other quizzes or exams with Classic Quizzes.
- Make sure the points in your New Quiz build match your Canvas quiz points setting.
- Email instructionaltechnology@dce.harvard.edu to request the New Quizzes tool be enabled for your course.
