Building an Exam in Canvas? Use New Quizzes!

• From the Quizzes page, click the button for "+ Quiz". 
• In the dialog box, choose "New Quizzes" and click the "submit" button. 
• Enter your exam name and click the "build" button to start adding questions to your exam.

• Added features (like more control over shuffle answers).
• More flexible settings (allow a student to re-enter a submitted exam)
• Expanded question type options.
• Ability to attach stimulus info to a group of questions.

• You cannot use Proctorio with New Quizzes yet.
• Stick with one Quiz tool.
  • If you use New Quizzes don't create any other quizzes or exams with Classic Quizzes.
• Make sure the points in your New Quiz build match your Canvas quiz points setting.
